INVESTABLE OCEANS

Welcome to our December Newsletter!

During a truly challenging year it has been heartening to see so many people and organizations continue to advance the ocean stewardship agenda, while remaining sensitive to shifts in societal needs and priorities due to the pandemic and widespread social justice issues. This dedication and persistence gives us great optimism for what the coming year and decade will bring.

With this newsletter we are launching a new site feature called ZONES, designed to make it easier to provide easy, centralized access to all content on the site related to a specific topic, including investments, news and research, books, films and art. We have chosen Seaweed as our first Zone because it has been particularly prominent over the past months due to bold global initiatives, deep research and multiple investable opportunities. Please take time to explore the many facets of this remarkable life form, including a number of investment opportunities on the site (accredited investors only for that section). And be sure to check out our Seaweed 101 Primer!

As 2020 draws to a close we would like to thank you for all of your support, so many of you have helped us extend our reach and make the sorts of connections we had in mind when we started Investable Oceans. We look forward to continuing to grow our community in 2021, and if there are ways we can be of help to you at an institutional or individual level please do not hesitate to reach out.

Be well and see you next year!

Ted, Brian and Vanessa
