A new, global tool: bonds to finance the blue economy

The second UN World Ocean Assessment has revealed that our ocean is in a dire state. Human activities have severely altered two-thirds of the marine environment, leading to a triple crisis concerning climate, biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste. In addition to being serious threats to nature and society, these crises also lead to economic losses, which are often overlooked.
