This system eliminates single use plastic bags by using a universal smart bag and reward system.

How it works: Individuals purchase a SmartC tag (to affix to their own bag) or SmartC bag. They opt in by downloading Envision Charlotte’s app – Charlotte Mosaic and registering their SmartC tag or SmartC bag by scanning the QR code.

When participants take their now SmartC bag into any participating retailer they will be rewarded with points and the knowledge that they have reduced the amount of single use bags in the world.
